About

I’m a software engineer and Technical Lead. I started out in 2008 testing software, then moved on to test automation, frontend development and cross-platform apps in Flutter.

That path shaped how I work. As a tester I learned to look at software through the user’s eyes; as a developer, to build it so it’s reliable, testable and easy to maintain. Along the way I’ve made plenty of mistakes and learned from every one of them. I’m not infallible, but I don’t make the same mistake twice – a bit like good testing, where every bug you find becomes a test that makes sure it never comes back.

Today I lead one of the feature teams on the VIG3 project at Viessmann Climate Solutions. I combine hands-on Flutter development with technical leadership: mentoring, code reviews, architectural decisions and working with the Software Architect and other teams. I like staying close to the code while helping people grow.

What I value most in all of this is people. I’m at my best in a team where you can ask any question, have your own opinion and still play for the same side – no toxic atmosphere, no politics. I’m drawn to people with passions, because they’re the ones who make working together not just productive, but truly rewarding.

Outside of code

Motorcycles

I’m an avid motorcycle rider – for me, the road is the destination. I regularly train on track, and what I enjoy most is gymkhana, where precision, technique and full control of the bike are everything.

Sport

Cycling, swimming and skiing – sport gives me energy and balance. I used to train judo; today I follow it closely as a fan.

Making things

I like getting my hands on tools: woodwork, electrics, plumbing. Building something from scratch and checking that it really works.

Films and crime fiction

I value good cinema and crime novels – stories where you have to connect the facts and get to the bottom of things. A bit like debugging.

Wildlife

Along the way I met the people who run Puchaczówka today – a wildlife rehabilitation centre. A shared passion and care for animals mean that today I serve on the foundation’s board.
